Scene of devastation in Nepal: 170 people have died so far due to heavy rains and floods, 42 are missing; effect seen in Bihar too
Kathmandu. 170 people have died so far due to floods and landslides caused by heavy rains in Nepal. Along with this, 42 people are missing. Due to continuous rains for the past few days, many areas of eastern and central Nepal have been submerged. Its effect is also visible in Bihar after the rivers overflowed. Due to opening of the gates of barrages, many rivers including Ganga, Kosi, Gandak are overflowing. Floods have wreaked havoc in 26 districts.
