Bali Pass Trek- Tough Trek in India
The challenging Bali Pass trek spans 66 kilometers from Taluka to Janki Chatti, connecting Har Ki Dun - Ruinsara Valley to Yamunotri. Passing through heritage villages like Osla and Gangaad, it reaches an altitude of 16,240 feet with steep ascents. Highlights include Govind National Park, diverse flora and fauna, Thanga Bugyal, Devsu Thatch, Ruinsara Lake, Kyarkoti Glacier, and Saprishi Kund. Camping at picturesque locations and encountering waterfalls add to the enchantment. Starting from Har Ki Dun for gradual acclimatization is recommended. The trek concludes at Yamunotri Dham, featuring the majestic Bandarpunch Glacier and Saptrishi Kund, the primary source of the Yamuna River, with stunning views of Swargarohini from the Bali Pass base camp.
