Bali Pass Trek 1
The Bali Pass trek is a grueling 66 km trek from Taluka to Janki Chatti, at an altitude of 16,240 feet. Crossing the Har Ki Dun Valley and Govind National Park, the trek showcases a variety of flora and fauna, including rare snow leopards. Highlights include Ruinsara Lake, Thanga Devasu Thatch, Kyarkoti Glacier and waterfalls. Travelers explore villages, see breathtaking landscapes and encounter the Kalanaga and Swaragarohini mountain ranges. A verse from Sankari is recommended, for gradual drainage. The trek ends at Janki Chatti, which offers access to the holy Yamunotri Temple. The best time is before and after the rains, which provide a warm soil. The Bali Pass offers the complete Himalayan mountain experience with its unique features, making the journey difficult to navigate.
